If only...
More people would seek out of the Book and read...
Greetings once again from the desert...to my friends and family...
If only...more people went by those wonderful words of life, only found in the Bible. If only more of the world heeded them, read them, and lived by them. We wouldn’t be in the mess we are in. The most important instruction book ever written lies unread all over the world, as the world seeks wisdom from other sources, and is falling apart at the seams because of it.
If only...more people lived by God’s wonderful words of life. There would be no wars, no sickness, no disease, no hate, no killing, no droughts, crop failures, famines, etc., as God outlined in Deuteronomy 28 and Leviticus 26; all the blessings He would bestow on us, if we chose His blessings and followed His rules and instructions, which are not burdensome. This world would be as He intended it to be...like the garden of Eden. We would walk humbly with our God, and He would be walking among us...an idyllic existence, the way it was intended to be. The ONLY way there will ever be peace in the world--is if everyone chose to follow their creator and to seek a restored relationship with Him. But, alas, most people now are worshiping his creation instead of the one who created it all. They are following and worshiping the creature, instead of their creator. Because if you are not worshiping God, by default, you are serving the devil, the prince of the power of the air. By his many lies, he has people believing that HE created them. When all we need to do is read and believe and follow God’s wonderful words of life. And refuse to believe any other lying words, or books, or false prophets, or false religions...but only THE BOOK OF LIFE.
Isaiah 8:20 -”To the law and to the testimony; If they speak not according to this Word, it is because there is no light in them”. I would say, there is no truth in them.
I just read an article by Mathew Maavak, with THE EYE OPENER on substack, which explained so beautifully, so I’ll share the link with you. The more who see and read, the better.
So I, for one, am glad that this troubled world is not my final home. I have added another absolute favorite Hymn, UNTIL THEN, which I’ve shared before, but singing those precious words gives me the strength to carry on, until the day, when we behold that city...until the day, God calls us HOME. Will heaven be your final home? God gave us that choice...to follow Him, or....follow false gods. So, as in Joshua 24:15, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord”. Whom do you follow? Our God is only a prayer’s call away, as in Jeremiah 33:3. Always listening. Always waiting for one more to open that door and invite Him in...as in Rev. 3:20. And He said He would come in and sup with them, and they with Him.
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” What a precious promise!
UNTIL THEN...since I shared this in a prior note, I will share another that I had never heard before. It gives hope, in the midst of these last days...and especially for friends who may not know the Lord, called “We’re Going Home To Glory Soon”. And with that hope, we will be able to withstand whatever comes, because it will be of short duration, compared to eternity, and then we’ll go home to spend eternity with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It’s from the YouTube channel Savedandkept. I had to laugh when I realized it was to the tune of Auld lang Zyne, or Zein, zine? (don’t know spelling. LOL). Bless all who listen, sing to and love our Lord! and those who will be giving their lives to Him...you will never regret it! I pray this is a blessing, and one you can sing over and over....when patience runs a little thin, and you (we) need an uplift. For God inhabits our praises. So sing loudly and often, even if you don’t feel like it. Soon you will!
You’ll find it’s a whole lot better Rx than any man-made ones, and no sorcery involved.
